VUDU, in Worthing’s Warwick Street, offers a bottomless brunch with quality food and drink and laid back dining in stylish surroundings.Â
From the start, the friendly staff gave a warm welcome. This cocktail bar and restaurant is modern and eye-catching with lush greenery and a modern aesthetic, the perfect backdrop for a photo.Â
The brunch includes 90 minutes of unlimited drinks and a choice of one dish from the set menu. There’s a nice bit of flexibility here with staff asking when we’d like the food to come out.
We ordered the Full English Breakfast and the Bulgogi Beef Burger. The breakfast was a classic done well with butcher’s sausage, smoked bacon, fried egg, hash brown, grilled tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and toast, all generously portioned and nicely cooked.Â
The burger had a Korean twist with marinated beef, melted cheddar, smoked bacon and a soft brioche bun, served with a generous helping of crispy fries. Both plates were hearty and satisfying with thoughtful flavours rather than just filler food.
The drinks menu offered a good mix of cocktails, prosecco, lager and soft drinks. We sampled a Mimosa, the Coconut Breeze and the VUDU Sunrise. The Coconut Breeze was particularly enjoyable, light, sweet and tropical. Glasses never stayed empty for long and service remained consistently attentive.
The real star of the show, though, was the VUDU You cocktail. Served with flair and a burst of dramatic smoke, it arrived with a prosecco shot and a bold mix of vanilla vodka, framboise, raspberry, pineapple and foamer. It was absolutely delicious.
With music at just the right volume and a relaxed vibe throughout, it’s easy to settle in and make the most of the experience.Â
VUDUÂ in Worthing brings together a fun atmosphere, well-executed food and some creative drinks, making it a great choice for a Worthing brunch outing.
