Cinderella at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing brings a cosy burst of festive silliness that feels just right for a winter family outing. Running from 10th December 2025 to 4th January 2026, it offers a familiar story delivered with a light touch and a cast who throw themselves into the fun without hesitation. This version leans into the charm of traditional panto but adds enough quirks to keep it feeling fresh.
Puja Panchkoty leads the cast as Cinderella and she settles into the role with warmth and that calm confidence audiences already know from her CBeebies work. Her singing voice is a lovely surprise if you have not heard her perform live before and she brings an easy sincerity to every scene. She has real stage presence and the kids in the audience responded to her immediately.
Paul Giddings returns as Fairy Fou Fou and proves again why he’s so popular in Worthing pantos. He is funny, quick, slightly mischievous and clearly enjoys playing to the crowd. He keeps the whole thing moving with a blend of wit and theatrical sparkle that never becomes grating.
Jannine Pardo takes on the Wicked Baroness and embraces the boos with confidence. She delivers the villainy with just the right amount of sneer and never lets the energy dip. Jessica Spalis and Katherine Kotz as the Hardup Sisters provide some of the loudest laughs of the night. They strut, they squabble and they pull off the sort of exaggerated comedy that makes pantomime work.
Prince Charming, played by Harry Hodge, looks the part and holds his own, while Richard Edwards as Dandini gives steady support with a neat comedic edge and strong vocals. Buttons, played by Dizzy, earns the biggest applause from children. He is sweet and silly without ever becoming cloying.
The show features a surprisingly modern song list including Golden from K Pop Demon Hunters, Ordinary by Alex Warren and Where is My Husband by Raye. A very funny spin on the Twelve Days of Christmas ends up being one of the highlights. The dancers give strong performances throughout and help keep the pace brisk. All in all, it is sweet, funny warm hearted family entertainment that leaves you in a good mood.
