Lucky Voice Karaoke Brunch in Brighton is a fun and quirky two-hour experience combining private karaoke, bottomless drinks and a generous spread of snacks. Held every Saturday, it’s well-organised, relaxed and great fun whether you’re there to belt out songs or just enjoy the drinks and watch others do the honours.
Each group gets a private karaoke room, so there’s no pressure to perform in front of strangers. The setup is simple with two microphones, a user-friendly touchscreen to add songs and a huge catalogue of around 13,000 tracks.
You can search by song or artist or browse themed playlists by genre, decade or occasion. It’s all very intuitive and the whole system runs smoothly, even after a few drinks.
Speaking of drinks, they flow freely for the full two hours. Prosecco, Sex on the Beach cocktails and soft drinks are all included. Press the “thirsty” button inside your room and staff appear quickly with your top-up. Service is fast and friendly, and you’re never left waiting.
The food is also decent. A selection of bagels, pastries, fruit and salads is laid out buffet-style, with plenty of veggie and vegan options. The bagel names add a fun touch such as Don’t Go Bacon My Heart and The Way You Lox Tonight. Everything tastes fresh and there’s lots of it which can be boxed up and taken home if needed.
The rooms themselves are clean and spacious with seating, fitting anywhere from four to thirty people. Disco lighting adds to the mood and the private setup means even the shyest guests eventually have a go. Whether it’s note-perfect renditions or complete chaos, the atmosphere stays fun and relaxed.
Lucky Voice has found a smart balance of silliness and structure. With solid service, good food, and the joy of badly sung classics shared in private, it’s one of the more memorable brunches Brighton has to offer. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s exactly the point.
