Sean Paul, the Jamaican dancehall superstar, is taking his show on the road this summer with an exclusive stop in Brighton on Wednesday 9th of August.Â
While he previously missed Brighton during his eight-date ‘Scorcha’ tour of the UK last summer, he is determined to make it up to his dedicated fans of the south-east.
The singer and rapper has had immense success with his music, taking dancehall to new heights and reaching the top of the charts.Â
He has sold over 26 million records across seven studio albums and has collaborated with Beyonce, Dua Lipa, David Guetta, Ellie Goulding, and Sia, to name a few.
He achieved international fame in 2000 with his debut album “Stage One” and has since continued to be a prominent artist in the music industry.Â
Some of his most famous songs include “Get Busy,” “Temperature,” “We Be Burnin’,” and “Gimme the Light.” These songs have cemented his place in the world of dancehall music.
In more recent years, Sean Paul has continued to produce popular songs, including “Rockabye” (with Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie), “No Lie” (featuring Dua Lipa), “Mad Love” (with David Guetta and Becky G), “Contra La Pared” (with J Balvin), and “When It Comes To You.”
He has entertained massive crowds in over 120 countries, setting stages on fire and filling up some of the largest venues in the world.Â
With his upcoming summer tour, he aims to bring his energy and hits to Brighton, and fans can expect to hear his greatest tunes, old and new.
Tickets are available now, and the show will be held at the Brighton Centre. Doors will open at 7pm. For more information, visit the website here.
