The 18th and 19th May sees Brighton Open Houses spilling out onto the lawns of St Ann’s Well Gardens to get everyone into the 2024 Festival vibe.  The Friends of St Ann’s Well Gardens are hosting more than 20 artists and makers with live music and dancing making the Park the place to be that weekend.

The artists are setting up their colourful gazebos and transforming the Park with a dazzling array of skills including jewellery, ceramics, prints, textiles, photography, sculpture, wood craft, candles and colourfulstationery.

Pippa Smith Chair of the Friends of St Ann’s Well Gardens said:

It’s fantastic to have so many talented artists and makers all in one place during the Festival – and its free. At this time of year the Park is bursting with flowers and birdlife and is a great place for people to come and enjoy any day of the week. But our take on Brighton Open Houses with added music and fun will make it the 2024 Festival destination

Adding to the festival spirit will be live music provided by some of Brighton best bands including Americana (Country and Blues) from Area Code, funky music from Brazil from MANDU 4, Folk music from Merial’s Secret – plus Three Score Dance Co. When the live music stops the fun goes on with DJ’s filling the air with their eclectic mix of Summer music favourites. In addition, Maz’s tent will be bursting with activities and crafts, all designed to keep the kids and parents happy.

Pippa Smith went on to say:

St Ann’s Well Gardens is a great place for people to bring a picnic and enjoy the beauty of the Park and then explore all the wonderful stalls. Alternatively, the Garden Cafe is open as usual serving a choice of delicious food and drinks. We are hoping for ice-cream weather!”
