Police hunt road rage driver in Brighton

Sussex Police have issued an appeal looking for a driver who caused damage to a vehicle in a road rage incident in Brighton earlier this month.

 

It has been reported a woman pulling out of Woodland Way into Surrenden Road, Brighton was tailgated by another driver for half a mile at around 5.30pm on Monday 8 October.

 

The victim, who was driving aTalbot Express campervan, stopped driving, and the driver of the other vehicle, a silver Volkswagen Caddy Sportline TDI, got out of his car.

 

When the woman attempted to drive away from the scene, the man reportedly proceeded to smash the driver’s window and broke the wing mirror.

 

The suspect has been described as in his early 40s, 5’11”, of stocky build, and with grey hair.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been at the incident, and specifically, want to speak to the owner of the Volkswagen vehicle.
