While everyone is still reeling from the Glastonbury line-up, we at Bjournal were getting excited over another festival announcement. This morning, the Great Escape announced another 100 artists who will be taking to the stages at the annual Brighton festival. The Great Escape Festival has never let us down, and this year the line-up is looking more and more impressive. Joining the likes of Blossoms and Mystery Jets will be Blaenavon, Liss, Milk Teeth, who are definitely ones to watch this year, and many more.

Event Manager Kevin Moore told the405 “It’s wonderful to be able to announce another 100 artists who will be taking part in The Great Escape 2016. We wanted to make sure this year’s line-up was as exciting and diverse as ever, championing emerging artists from as many genres as possible and I really do feel we’ve got something for every type of new music fan, no matter what you’re into. The addition of our Young Adult wristbands for those aged 16-17, along with our Late Escape programming has opened the festival to new attendees and fans. I can’t wait to see everyone in Brighton very soon.” There will be separate tickets available for young adults, and the names billed for the Young Adult portion of the festival will be more familiar to the casual music fan including The Joy Formidable, Mystery Jets and Band of Skulls.

The Great Escape will take place from 19th to 21st May in various venues across Brighton. Tickets are available now. You can check out the full line up here.
