The Level is holding it’s monthly Sunday market this weekend that showcases the best of what Brighton has to offer, and this time they’re bringing all the fun of the zoo to you!

The fair boasts an enormous array of stalls, including food and drink, handmade good and vintage finds. However this month they are really upping the ante, with the addition of RepTylers, a mobile miniature zoo. According to RepTyler’s website, not only do they have the expected reptiles, but also animals of the furry variety, and creepy crawlies for the braver animal enthusiasts.

This month’s other highlights include global street food, fresh locally made cakes, handmade jewellery and ceramic as well as Sussex-made cheese – yummy! The Level Market will also feature live entertainment, with a mellow festival-esque soundtrack courtesy of DJ Eggs Legs.

One of the market’s organisers has said that they’re “delighted to be showcasing over 35 traders that represent the best of Brighton.”

So, if you’re feeling a little fragile after a big night at The Great Escape Festival, planning a family day out or just looking something to do between Fringe shows, be sure to head down to the Level – you’ll find the Brighton Journal first in the queue to hold a snake!

The Level Sunday Market is also accepting applicants for stall holders next time – if you feel as though Brighton people are missing out on what you’re selling, get in touch with the team on Facebook to ensure your spot next time.

The Level Sunday Market is open 10am – 5pm, Sunday 20th May @ The Level, BN1. For more info see their Facebook event. The next markets will be held  June 17th, July 22nd and August 12th.
