The Love Supreme is a different kind of festival. Specialising in Funk, Soul and Jazz it offers a change to many other festivals that don’t offer these type of acts.

Launching in 2013 the Love Supreme has got bigger and better every year. This year it it returns for its third summer, with Grace Jones, Burt Bacharach and Lianne La Havas all appearing. Taking place in Glynde Park in Lewes over three days, the Love Supreme Festival offers the chance to see dozens of acts that you might not get the opportunity to see again.

The festival has four stages including its Main Stage, a Big Top, The Arena and the Bandstand. There is a mix of big headline names with more local and unheard Brighton talent. As well as live music there are also DJs and Club events, lectures and films all being shown. Children are welcome at the festival with a special Kids area and a fairground that is open to all.

Some of the acts appearing across the four stages include Kelis, The Milk, Gogo Penguin and St. Germain. Barnacles, Vels Trio and Simon Spillet Quintet all headline the Bandstand, which showcases the best of Brighton talent.

As well as the music, there is also a food village offering the best in street food from across the globe.

The Love Supreme is a truly unique festival that offers something different to the mainstream, it is perfect for anyone looking to escape the everyday and take in some culture.

The festival takes place between the 1-3 July with weekend and day tickets still available now.
