THEATRE ROYAL BRIGHTON UNVEILS NEW SEASON WHAT’S ON GUIDE

Following a fabulous Winter season of shows, Theatre Royal Brighton is excited to unveil the What’s On Guide for Spring — featuring a critically-acclaimed lineup of shows coming to Brighton in 2025/2026.

This new season welcomes an array of award-winning actors to the Brighton stage. In April, West End star and British actor Michael Maloney (Truly, Madly, Deeply, Belfast, Young Victoria, The Crown) will star as the celebrated Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot in AGATHA CHRISTIE’S MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, while in June, Irish media personality Laura Whitmore (Love Island, MTV, Laura Whitmore Investigates) will take on the role of Rachel Watson in THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN.

In July, stage, television and film starMartin Shaw (Judge John Deed, Inspector Goerge Gently, The Professionals)will lead A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS, followed by a star-studded October featuring Stacey Dooley(TV presenter) and Kevil Clifton(Strictly Come Dancing, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Chicago) in the stage phenomenon 2:22 A GHOST STORY, and Tom Chambers (Father Brown, Strictly Come Dancing) in INSPECTOR MORSE: HOUSE OF GHOSTS.

This season will also see the return of the ‘king of dance theatre’ (The Observer) Matthew Bourne with MATTHEW BOURNE’S THE MIDNIGHT BELL, alongside other returning fan-favourites SIX, THE WOMAN IN BLACK and SUNNY AFTERNOON — Theatre Royal Brighton’s 2025 Christmas show, celebrating the timeless sound of The Kinks.

Sophie Denney, Theatre Royal Brighton’s Theatre Director, said: “we are delighted to present our new season What’s On guide with a host of brilliant shows on offer! This new season has something for everyone – from gripping dramas to spectacular musicals, to fun-filled family shows.”

Theatre Royal Brighton’s Creative Learning programme is also pleased to announce a host of new workshops, events and backstage tours on offer. Theatre Royal Brighton’s Creative Learning programme aims to make theatre and live entertainment inclusive for all, ensuring theatre remains inspiring and accessible for people of all ages and from all walks of life.
