If you fancy some pub food on a Monday night then you could do much worse than heading down to The Windmill who give away a complimentary bowl of chilli con carne with every drink bought.
The offer applies to drinks bought after 6PM and there are both veggie and meat chillies available.
A spokesperson for The Windmill said: “We’ve been doing it for 2 years, every Monday. It gives chef a night off, whilst we give the kitchen a weekly deep clean, and feeds customers too! So all in all a winning combination.”
The pub on North Street has been open since 1828 and describes itself as “one of Brighton’s best kept secrets”.
