Brighton Festival, Brighton Fringe, Brighton Tattoo Convention… your calendar is probably already bursting with events you intend to go to this weekend but here is yet another one that you definitely shouldn’t miss out on. This Sunday, it’s time for the annual MusicFest on Brighton Palace Pier.
This year’s lineup features a total of nine bands and artists from around the area, like the cover duo Winter Thieves, soprano singer and pianist Sylvia Rota, singer-songwriter Sam Tier and Brighton’s famous singing barber Peter Joannou who hosts the event.
Headliner and last performer of the day will be singer and songwriter Tom Baxter. Known for his soft voice and his strong lyrics, he has already published two albums so far and is currently working on a third one after having taken some time out.
Like every year, the MusicFest is completely free. So if you have some time to spare and are in the mood for some live music, you know where you will get it.
