Brighton Show Confirmed at Patterns on Thursday 30th October
Wendy James – iconic frontwoman of Transvision Vamp and acclaimed solo artist – is set to hit the road this October for a nationwide UK tour in support of her critically praised new album The Shape of History. The tour will include a much-anticipated stop in Brighton at Patterns on Thursday 30th October, marking a major highlight on the south coast’s autumn music calendar.
Wendy will perform with a full live band, featuring a formidable lineup of musicians including:

Dave Parsons (Transvision Vamp) on bass

Together, the band will bring to life a dynamic setlist spanning Wendy’s celebrated career – from her explosive pop punk beginnings with Transvision Vamp, through her genre-defying solo catalogue including Queen High Straight, Racine No.1, and the brand-new The Shape of History.

Out now on deluxe vinyl, CD, and digital platforms, The Shape of History is Wendy’s tenth solo album – a record that blends gritty rock sensibilities with sweeping sonic ambition. Written, produced, and mixed by Wendy herself, the album was crafted between West London and New York City, capturing the essence of both urban grit and romantic introspection.
