Start the weekend off with a ‘bang’ and attend the UK’s biggest and original festival for Prosecco Lovers this Friday at the Hilton Brighton Metropole, where there will be more than 40 types of Prosecco, Cava’ Pink Fizz, Prosecco cocktails & more! Sussex Sharks vs. Kent Spitfires @ The 1st Central County Ground – Friday 10 August
T20 ‘Vitality Blast’ is back for the second time in a week at The 1st Central County Ground, as Sussex Sharks take on Kent Spitfires this Friday! After Sundays t20 loss against Somerset, Sussex will be aiming to get back to winning ways in front of their home crowd this Friday, so come down for an expected exciting evening of cricket!

Zumba® Saturdays with Mon @ New Fit Studio – Saturday 11 August
Join Mon’s Jumba class this Saturday at New Fit Studio for some pretty fun and fabulous Zumba Fitness! Expect fresh tunes, fun routines and great vibes, which will get that heart pumping a booty shaking! Run by trained dance teacher Monica, no dance experience is necessary and is everyone welcome so you can just relax, take the class at your own pace and follow Monica’s lead. Guided Walks around the Historical North Laine @ Starting from Brighton Museum
Discover the heritage of the North Laine this Sunday by joining this guided walk with local resident and historian Peter Crowhurst. The tours start outside Brighton Museum and after a 100 minute tour of the historic North Laine return to Church Street. In between you will learn all about the history of the area from it’s buildings, to its characters and the industrial importance the area had on the city. There is no need to register, so just turn up and be prepared to be informed!

Sunday in the park with jazz Charlotte Glasson @ Brighton Open Air Theatre – Sunday 12 August
For the fourth year running Charlotte Glasson has curated a celebratory Jazz spectacular featuring the best Jazz of the local scene. The afternoon will kick off with the Sussex Jazz Orchestra, a 20+ piece Big Band led by ace trombonist Mark Bassey. Followed by award-winning multi-instrumentalist Charlotte Glasson’s solo set, and ending on a high with the exciting and delightful Paul Richards Trio exploring unexpected arrangements fusing Latin, Classical, Jazz and Samba. Doors open at 1pm for a 2pm start, the event is not ticketed in advance and is entrance by donation at the gate.
