WHAT’S ON IN OCTOBER?

Cosy season is here and we all want to hibernate. Luckily, autumn is one of the best times to visit our venue, ready for some excellent Halloween events and one of the most packed months of the year!
EXPLORE OCTOBER’S LISTINGS

COMEDY

For starters, the Brighton Dome Comedy Festival in Cahoots with Komedia brings you a 10-day programme across both of our venues, between 16-25 October. Our programme features John Crace, Aurie Styla, Jordan Brookes, Amy Matthews, Kim Blythe and many more.

Other comedy highlights include our cover star Kane Brown (7 Oct) coming off the back of his sold-out UK tour, Biggest Award in Comedy nominee Michael Akadiri (9 Oct & 6 Mar), Scotsgay Comedy Award winner Milo Edwards (15 Oct), and podcast The Running Joke – Live with Zoe Lyons and Esther Manito (26 Oct).

Our live music line-up kicks off with a candle-lit night of fuzzy folk goodness at The Harvest Moon Sessions followed by fuzzed-out pop melodies and dreamy vocal harmonies from LSD and the Search For God + Special Guests, (11 Oct), The Album Era performs Black Sabbath’s 1970 album Paranoid and The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act invites you to the Marginalia Halloween Party, a night of odd-folk and musical curiosities (31 Oct).

CLUB NIGHTS

Darker nights equal more opportunities to dance the night away! Our club nights include Get Down! bringing the best mod, r&b, garage, psych and northern soul on original vinyl (17 Oct), reggae dance party The Brighton Moon Hop (30 Oct), Black Parade – 00s Emo Anthems Halloween Party (31 Oct), and the legendary alternative 80s club Spellbound with their Halloween Special (31 Oct).
For kids and their families, we have music, movement, and storytelling fun at Story Magic and Story Magic Baby Sessions (2,9,16 & 23 Oct), Comedy Club 4 Kids with the best stand-ups and sketch acts without the rude bits (17 Oct), and three fabulous hours of creative fun at Sundae Club (18 Oct).

OTHER

Other events to keep on your radar are Queer Cxntry featuring cabaret, line-dancing, live music and more (8 Oct), Brighton’s iconic comedy bingo night turns into a daytime party at Bogan Bingo: Afternoon Delight (24 Oct), cult hit show Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote returns (21 Oct) and Joe Black’s Kleines Kabarett puts on the ultimate Halloween Special packed with comedy, burlesque and cabaret (29 Oct).
