Autumn and spooky season are officially here! Grab your cosy jumper, pumpkin spiced something, and tickets to Joe Black’s Kleines Kabarett Halloween special (30 Oct) or one the other eerie-sistible events happening this month.

COMEDY

Our stand-up shows starts strong this month with a solo show by Grace Petrie (1 Oct) and Rosie Jones headlining Down the Hatch Comedy Club (5 Oct) – two lesbian icons in one week! Online sensation Josh Baulf is here (12 Oct), we’ve got a debut hour from the greatest local showman Christian Jegard (21 Oct), character comedian Daisy Doris May (22 Oct), and Joe Wells, who explores fatherhood through the lens of neurodivergency (24 Oct).

MUSIC

We’ve got plenty of music gigs to enjoy including Irish alt-folk group Ye Vagabonds + Beth Roberts (7 Oct), BBC best newcomer nominee Martha Tilston (8 Oct), anti-folk hero Herman Dune + Hayley Savage (21 Oct), Dutch-New Zealand alternative dance trio MY BABY (26 Oct), and Brighton’s own queer power pop duo ARXX (28 Oct).

Get down at doors for all of our standing live music shows to ‘support the supports’ and enjoy 20% off all drinks for the first hour.

As the nights draw in, we’ve got plenty of fun after dark at our club nights. Student Fridays @ Komedia takes over our venue every Friday, there’s mid-Nineties Brit Pop tracks at Blow Up (10 Oct), indie, ska, soul, funk & Britpop at Let the Sun Shine (18 Oct), all your favourite Five hits at the nostalgia fuelled Keep On Movin’ – Unofficial Five After Party (31 Oct), and the legendary Spellbound Alternative 80s Night Halloween Special (31 Oct).
