The kids have gone back to school this week and are probably reeling for the weekend! Here is just some of the events going on in Brighton this weekend!
Friday – Brighton Racecourse Live
This is a new event which will be kicking off a series of live music acts at Brighton Racecourse. This weekend Human League, marc Almond, Groove Armada and many more will be performing next to the spectacular views the location has to offer. Tickets are available here. It will take place from 5:30 to midnight so prepare for a lovely evening.
Saturday – Summer Fete
The Sussex Beacon will open up their gardens this Saturday for one day to the public for games, entertainment prizes, a raffle, cake sales a cafe and much much more. The event will take place from 11am to 4pm so get down there get your face painted and have a go on the coconut shy. For more information click here.
Saturday – Brighton Museum Free Day Science Uncovered
From 10am to 5pm this Saturday you can pop down to Brighton Museum and get in for free as part of the British Science Festival. There will be pop-up talks, games and experiments going on all day.
Saturday – Kapow
A giant inflatable 5k obstacle course will be in Preston Park this Saturday, the superhero themed race is accompanied by foam cannons, UV bubble pods and a maze. All the money raised will go to the Marlets Hospice. From 11am – 1pm get down there and slip, slide and jump your way through the challenge. For more information click here.
Sunday – Ace Cafe Reunion
This motorcycling event is the 24th reunion, it includes 3 rides around Brighton over the course of 3 days and will have club stand displays, live music and special guests. Click here for more information.
