Monday – Drunk With My Friends @ Latest Music Bar
Sussex-based artists will be showcased tonight at Latest Music Bar tonight alongside some poetry by Joseph J Clark aka Drunk with a Pen. If you’re looking for a place to relax and hear music from Brighton’s own Hollie Rogers, Chuck SJ Hay and more, this is the spot.

Tuesday – Peter Perrett @ Concorde 2
Former member of The Only Ones, Peter Perret is sharing his first solo album How The West Was Won, and debuting his new song ‘An Epic Story” at Concorde 2. This is a treat for those who remember his sardonic drawl from the 70’s as he hasn’t released new music in 20 years. The performance will also see him announcing more gig dates for later this year.

Wednesday – Negative Measures, Operation Kino and more @ Green Door Store
This night at Green Door Store entails mosh after mosh. The evening is a variety of hardcore music varying from punk to metal. Groups like Negative Measures, The Guts and Operation Kino will be performing. Some might say that is exactly what you need midweek to make it to Friday! Heading to the mosh pit on time would be advisable as it is free entry.

Thursday – Neal Richardson Trio @ Master Mariner
This month the the Neal Richardson Trio are playing with Vasilis Xenopoulos a tenor sax player as a the special guest at Splash Point Jazz Club Brighton. Vasilis was born in Athens and has been playing the saxophone since he was 13.

Friday – AYU @ Lewes Constitutional Club
AYU is an eight piece funk band from Brighton. Their rhythms will transport you back to the 70’s through the likes of Funkedelic, Mandrill, Curtis Mayfield and James Brown.

Saturday – PatchFest AfterParty @ The Admiral
Following the community festival held in William Clarke Park which includes two live music stages. The Admiral will be host to the Official After Party. The party will start with predominant reggae vibes from Hey Maggie and beatboxer, Mr Wolfe. Going on to host hip hop and acoustic artists like Ben Jammin for a evening of summertime fun.

Sunday – Olly Murs @ Sussex 1st Central County Ground
On his Summer Tour Olly Murs is stopping in Sussex to perform for one of his 22 outdoor tour dates around the UK. The pop-star rose to fame in 2009 on the X-Factor and released his fifth solo album in 2016 called 24 Hours. Fans will gather to hear his newest music and his older hits like ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’.
