At the age of 29 Rosie finds herself single and ready to put herself first but an unexpected STI diagnosis reminds Rosie that her approach to sexual health needs to change. By being brave enough to show her vulnerability and express her unapologetic self, Rosie finds her forever love and learns how to develop her ‘mindgina’.
My Vagina’s Priceless features original songs co-written by Rosie Houlton and musical director Douglas Price. The duo first worked together back in 2017 on Rosie’s first one woman show Facts About Me and again in 2018 on Facts About Love. The music is joyful, fun and sounds as if Kanye West, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Elmo made an album together.
About Rosie
With a circus clown as a father and a mother with psychic powers it was almost inevitable that Rosie would go into performing herself. Rosie grew up travelling with Zippos Circus and Cirque Du Hilarious, while visiting some stunning theatres and venues along the way. Her young adult life was spent performing as a magician’s assistant with the circus, followed by two years training as an actress and a third year at The London School of Musical Theatre. In 2017 Rosie performed her first one woman show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has since returned yearly to share updates on her personal life through song and comedic anecdotes. Rosie spends her professional life working internationally as a comedy vocalist.
