Comedian and musician Robert White, best known for his memorable run on Britain’s Got Talent, is heading out on tour with a brand-new show, and it arrives at Komedia Brighton on Wednesday 18 November 2026.
‘THAT’ Gay Autistic Keyboard Tanktop Comedy Guy! is classic Robert White: a fast-moving mix of songs, stand-up, stories, gags, props and improvisation, with plenty of chaotic audience interaction. No two nights are ever quite the same.
A Comedy Original
White won over millions of viewers on Britain’s Got Talent, where Simon Cowell called him “very unique” and “very quirky”. Since then he has built a huge online following and a reputation as one of the most distinctive acts on the comedy circuit.
Critics agree. Time Out called him a “fantastic oddball”, and The Telegraph described his style as “neurotically charged camperie from a hyperactive man-child”. His musical comedy sits somewhere between stand-up and cabaret, with razor-sharp wit at its core.
What to Expect
Armed with his trademark keyboard and tank top, White turns his own life, including being gay and autistic, into songs and stories that are as honest as they are funny. Expect quick-fire improvisation and a crowd that becomes part of the show.
The show is 18+ and contains strong language and adult themes.
Brighton Local
Komedia remains one of Brighton’s best-loved comedy venues, and its autumn line-up is packed. White’s visit follows a busy season of comedy in the city, including the Brighton Dome Comedy Festival and political satirist Rosie Holt’s latest show. Looking ahead to Christmas, James B Partridge brings The Big Christmas Assembly to the Theatre Royal.
