Soulful voices, beautiful gowns and a fantastic back catalogue of hits, The Three Degrees, Valerie Holiday, Freddie Pool and Tabitha King are heading to the Congress Theatre, Saturday 22 October.

The Three Degrees are an American female vocal trio originally formed in 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Valerie Holliday has been a long-serving member since 1967. The band has had million selling hits with; When Will I See You Again, Take Good Care of Yourself, Year of Decision and Woman in Love.

A firm favourite with King Charles, they trio sang at his 30th birthday party and were guests at his wedding to Princess Diana, the band were nicknamed Charlies Angels by the press! There are even photographs showing the now King dancing on stage at Eastbourne Kings Holiday Park with the Three Degrees in 1978 for a Princes Trust charity event!

The trio will be supported on the night by Richie Sampson from The Drifters.

Next year marks the 60th anniversary of The Three Degrees formation, albeit the names in the harmony group have changed over the years. Don’t miss your chance to experience a Three Degree’s concert live in Eastbourne.
