Eastbourne police are searching for witnesses to a vehicle incident that occurred on Sunday 11th February at about 6pm. The collision took place close to the central reservation just west of the Beach Road junction.
A 70-year-old woman was driving a Renault Scenic, westbound, when it collided with a 91-year-old man who was near to the junction.
The pedestrian man sustained a fracture to the arm and was treated at Eastbourne District General Hospital. The 70-year-old woman driver was unharmed.
PC Rebecca Knight said: “We are trying to establish the circumstances of the collision and would like to hear from anyone who saw it.”
