If you’re single or you just want to meet new people while having a very big giggle head to The Richmond on Wednesday night. It’s a cheeky take on speed-dating and they say themselves “never will you learn more about someone than when you are playing this game…it’s a great icebreaker so is ideal for social situations which can prove a bit nerve-wracking when meeting people for the first time”. It’s not arts but it definitely is culture, this Thursday everyone’s favourite alt-rock band Sunflower Bean come to Concorde’s stage. The lead singer, Julia Cumming, has proven that just because she’s a girl in rock it doesn’t equate to the genre she plays as ‘girl rock’. Their signed to uber-cool label Fat Possum Records and absolutely killed it last time they played Brighton. Don’t miss the chance to see them play their beautiful rock tunes.
