Baz Warne, the current and longest-serving frontman of legendary British punk band The Stranglers, has announced a brand-new UK tour titled Baz Warne: Convivial – An Evening of Songs, Stories and Conversation. The tour includes a special performance at Komedia, Brighton on Tuesday 4 March, offering fans a rare and intimate opportunity to experience Warne in a completely new setting.
Best known for his role leading The Stranglers since 2000, Warne has helped guide the band through one of the most successful and creative periods in its long history, performing to sold-out audiences across the world and recording multiple studio albums. Convivial marks the first time he has taken to the road with a show of this kind — a stripped-back, unscripted and highly personal evening that blends music, conversation and storytelling.
Unlike traditional concerts, Convivial is designed as a relaxed, seated experience. Audiences can expect a mix of songs drawn from Warne’s career, alongside behind-the-scenes stories from more than two decades at the helm of one of Britain’s most influential rock bands. There will also be plenty of opportunity for audience questions, making every night unique and ensuring no two performances are ever the same.
