Submissions are now open for Brighton filmmakers to have their work shown at this years Cine City Film Festival in Brighton.
Anyone who has made a film based in Brighton or with a Brighton crew are eligible to enter the competition, with submissions closing on the 26th August.
Cine City have three screening programmes including Drama, Documentary and Experimenta. The judges are however open to films from any genre including fiction, non fiction and animation. This is a great chance for any budding filmmaker to get their work shown to hundreds of people and really establish themselves in the Brighton scene.
Cine City Festival will be returning for the 14th year in Brighton after a fantastic 2015 festival. The dates have not been confirmed but the festival is expected to take place in November this year.If you want to find out more about the festival you can do that here.
The competition is open to anyone who has completed a film after September 2015. Films longer than 20 minutes will be harder to schedule into the festival so bear that in mind when submitting.
