Instant Offices analysed data which compared the rate of business growth with population estimates, and found that Brighton is the most entrepreneurial city in the UK.
London the UK’s capital ranked 12th place, coming after cities like Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.
John Williams, Head of Marketing at Instant Offices notes the record demand he has seen for office space in Brighton. He said; “I can understand the appeal of Brighton and the south coast of England. It is a bit of an antidote to the hustle and bustle of the capital while possessing a strong, creative industry and really appealing to business owners and workers seeking a more relaxed alternative to London.”
Despite Brexit, the UK still placed 8th overall against 137 other countries for its healthy entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Global Entrepreneurship Index.
