Today, a man accused of nearly a dozen terror-related offenses is scheduled to appear in court. Mason Reynolds, an 18-year-old resident of Moulsecoomb Way, Brighton, will face proceedings at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later today.
His arrest on June 27 was carried out by counter-terrorism authorities, who assert that his 11 charges are connected to an “extreme right-wing ideology.”
The charges against Reynolds include five instances of gathering information that could aid in the commission or preparation of a terrorist act, as outlined in Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Additionally, he faces five charges of disseminating terrorist publications and one count of possessing an article intended for terrorist purposes.
