Brighton Whisky Weekend 2026 runs from 26 to 28 June, transforming the city into a whisky destination for three days of tastings, masterclasses, bar takeovers, paired dinners and discovery. For a city with Brighton’s independent spirit and appetite for quality, it is hard to believe it has taken this long.
The Central Expo — Saturday 27 June
At the heart of the weekend is the main expo at The Old Market on Saturday 27 June — a tasting event bringing together over 30 whisky producers under one roof.
Established names, emerging producers and indie bottlers will all be sampling their spirits as part of the ticket price. No tokens, no hidden costs. Every attendee receives a free tasting glass to keep, and there will be food on-site, bottles available to purchase and an exclusive festival bottling for the weekend.

Brighton Whisky Weekend is designed to be more than a single event. Across the three days, the weekend spreads across the city’s independent bars and restaurants — with highballs in Hove, bourbon on the beach, bar takeovers, paired dinners and whisky experiences curated specifically for Brighton.
The Team Behind It
The weekend has been created by three people who know what they are doing.
Richard Foster has hosted the Croydon Whisky Festival, English Whisky Festival and Exploring Whisky Bristol — bringing deep connections to craft brands and indie bottlers. Seb Woolf is the founder of Cut Your Woolf Loose, one of the UK’s finest independent whisky bars, and the Artful Dodger indie bottler — a cornerstone of Brighton’s hospitality scene for 13 years. Rosie Lees is co-founder of N94 agency and Lecce Cocktail Week, a renowned spirits judge and Brighton born-and-bred.
Together they have created something that feels genuinely local and genuinely serious — not just another whisky expo, but a weekend built around the city.
