This Saturday the 1st of November, Brighton’s vintage scene is coming together for something wonderfully unhinged: “November Nonsense”, a city-wide celebration ofthe beautifully ridiculous, gloriously unnecessary and totally irresistible side of vintage.
Led by Snoopers Paradise, the campaign runs all month and shines a spotlight on the treasures that make Brighton’s second-hand scene iconic — from animal lamps and religious kitsch to ashtrays, hats, taxidermy, toys and trinkets. The stuff that makes you smile, stare, or mutter “what is that?”
Throughout November, visitors can explore in-store displays at Snoopers Paradise and discover the best of Brighton’s vintage “nonsense” online via @snoopersparadisebrighton and #NovemberNonsense. Expect a rotating cast of curious objects, oddball stories, and the sort of joyful clutter that defines the city’s creative heart.
“Brighton’s vintage scene has always been about character,” says Jen from Snoopers Paradise. “November Nonsense celebrates the funny, fabulous pieces that
make people stop and smile — the things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them.”
The campaign runs from 1–30 November across Brighton’s independent vintage shops, offering a free, feel-good reason to explore the city during the winter slump.
