British Motor Yacht Show 2026 — What to Expect at Swanwick Marina This May

One of the UK’s most considered luxury boat shows returns this week — and Brighton Journal will be there.

The British Motor Yacht Show 2026 runs from 14 to 17 May at Premier Marinas’ Swanwick Marina on the River Hamble, Hampshire. Now in its 13th year, the show has built a reputation as a calm, appointment-led alternative to large-scale commercial boat events — focused on craftsmanship, informed decision-making and genuine engagement between buyers and makers.

What Makes This Show Different

Founded by Premier Marinas, Fairline, Princess Yachts and Sunseeker, the British Motor Yacht Show was created deliberately as a counterpoint to the noise of bigger boat shows.

The format is appointment-led: registered visitors book private viewings and one-to-one conversations with manufacturers, brokers and specialists in finance, insurance and marine services. Time and space sit at the centre of the experience — making it as relevant for seasoned owners as it is for those considering their first luxury motor yacht purchase.

Attendance is free, with advance registration required at britishmotoryachtshow.com.

Highlights for 2026

The headline debut this year is the Fairline Targa 47 GT — a significant evolution of the Targa range, featuring a contemporary exterior profile, a modern glassbridge helm and a flexible two-stateroom layout with a spacious mid-master cabin. Buyers can choose between Open and GT configurations, with Volvo Penta engine options throughout.

Alongside Fairline, the show will present the largest combined showcase of Princess Yachts and Sunseeker vessels available anywhere in the UK in 2026.

Further afloat highlights include:

  • Ancasta presenting Beneteau, Bluegame, Prestige Yachts and Protector Boats
  • Argo Yachting showcasing Pardo, Galeon and Saxdor Yachts
  • Saltwater Solutions presenting the Scandinavian performance brand Windy
  • SE Yachts displaying Navan and Delta Powerboats
  • DALE Motor Yachts (Pembrokeshire), B. Van den Hoven Jachtbouw (Netherlands) and Cockwells (Cornwall), presenting the award-winning Hardy and Duchy ranges

Specialist marine service providers will also be present throughout the show, covering finance, insurance and marine maintenance.
