Police are seeking information regarding reported assault on Brighton Beach and a rape alleged inciodent. The incidents, involving a teenage girl and a woman who know each other, allegedly occurred around 6am on September 8 between the two piers.
Authorities have released CCTV images of three men they wish to identify in connection with their ongoing investigation.
Detective Sergeant Paul Heal stated: “The victims are receiving support from specially trained officers. We’re pursuing multiple lines of inquiry to determine the circumstances and ensure accountability. We’ve increased patrols along Brighton seafront and are collaborating with partner agencies.”
The police request that anyone who recognizes the men in the images or witnessed suspicious activity near the seafront on the morning of September 8 come forward. Information can be reported online, by calling 101, or anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers.
