Donald Trump has mistaken a council worker from Brighton for his daughter Ivanka, after a mixup on the President Elect’s favourite social media site Twitter.
Ivanka Majic was accidentally tagged in a tweet about Ivanka Trump by Trump supporter Lawrence Goodstein in Massachusetts, who mistakenly wrote @Ivanka, not @IvankaTrump.
It meant that when Trump quoted the tweet, he was talking to a Brighton resident not his daughter.
Majic is not a regular tweeter but took the opportunity to lobby the future President over climate change.
Replying to the president-elect, she tweeted: “And you’re a man with great responsibilities. May I suggest more care on Twitter and more time learning about #climatechange.”
She also tweeted an image which claims that 97.5% of publishing climatologists and about 90% of all publishing scientists believe that climate change is man made, but did not recieve a response from the former real estate owner.
