A family motoring event with vintage cars, a funfair, food and drink and live bands returned to Seaford.

Seaford Motorfest is a free specialist motoring event that features different vehicles, including American and custom cars, motorbikes, scooters and trikes.

The event occurred on June 23 in Martello Field in Seaford and included a motorbike procession from Newhaven along the seafront.

The Seaford Community Events Committee, a non-profit organisation, organises this event annually.

Luella Rolph, Seaford Motorfest events chairman, said: “We aim to put on events that benefit the people of Seaford, support local businesses, charities and give back to the community. We have put so much effort into ensuring the whole family enjoys the day.”

There were performances from The Fabulous Baker Boys, Bite the Bullet, Rob Willis and the Rockettes, Bad Obsession, Freedom Riders and Accidental Suspects.

The food at this event included burgers, hotdogs, Thai food, crepes, barbecue catering, Greek wraps, and waffles.

There were also business and community stalls, including from the RNLI, NCI Newhaven, S.T.H Trust and the Seaford Bonfire Society.

Some stalls sold second-hand books, records, sweets, crafts, cards, baked goods, beer, vapes and clothing.

It first took place in 2015 and has gained popularity since, with around seven thousand people attending this year.
