Brighton & Hove Albion supporters have something extra to celebrate this European season. They can get the cheapest away-day pint of any Premier League club.
According to new data from LiveScore’s European Away Day Pint Index, Seagulls fans travelling to the Czech Republic for the Conference League match against Jablonec can buy a pint for just £1.22 at Bar Ponorka. That’s the lowest price recorded anywhere in the study.
Seven Pints for the Price of One
The index looked at the cost of a pint across 31 European away trips for the nine Premier League clubs playing in Europe in 2026/27. For each trip, it priced three fan-friendly bars near the ground.
The gap between the cheapest and most expensive is large. The priciest pint in the study is in Lillestrøm, Norway, at £8.66, so Brighton fans in Jablonec could buy roughly seven pints for the price of one there.
Brighton are also well ahead of the next-cheapest trips. Fans of Arsenal, Aston Villa and Bournemouth will pay £1.81 a pint in Prague, nearly 50% more than Albion supporters in Jablonec.
Brighton Local Angle
For Brighton fans, European football is still a new experience, and every away trip is something to enjoy. Following the team abroad isn’t cheap, with flights, hotels and match tickets all adding up. A pint at £1.22 makes this trip easier on the wallet, and it costs a fraction of what most Brighton pubs now charge.
Jablonec is a small city in the north of the Czech Republic, close to the German and Polish borders. Travelling fans will find a city that is affordable as well as welcoming. Supporters planning the trip should book early, as travel and accommodation for smaller European cities tend to sell out quickly.
Back home, if you’re watching the match in Brighton instead, there’s no shortage of good places to do it. Our Brighton & Hove weekend guide has the best pubs for a match day, and our pick of what’s on in the city covers the rest of the weekend.
