Brighton & Hove is set for a sun-kissed musical takeover next summer as the much-loved Glorious Day Festival returns to the seafront — this time bringing heavyweight headliners Groove Armada (DJ set) and soul icon Jocelyn Brown to Hove Lawns on Saturday 13 June 2026.
After a sold-out debut in 2025, the festival is returning “bigger, brighter and bolder,” promising a full day of house, disco, soul and feel-good classics in one of the city’s most scenic open-air settings. With the sea just steps away and thousands expected to dance on the grass, the organisers are positioning this as Brighton’s early-summer party highlight.
A Stellar Line-Up
Leading the bill are Groove Armada, whose genre-defining tracks like “Superstylin’” and “At the River” still remain mainstays of global dancefloors. Their energy, paired with Brighton’s beachside atmosphere, sets the stage for a euphoric sunset performance. Joining them is legendary vocalist Jocelyn Brown, performing live with her full band. Her unmistakable voice — responsible for classics like “Somebody Else’s Guy” — brings a soulful, celebratory dimension to the festival.
They’ll be supported by an impressive roster of dance favourites, including Todd Terry, Norman Jay, Fat Tony, Jon Pleased Wimmin, DJ Paulette and Smudged Soul. Additional .
Festival Experience
Alongside music across the day, the 2026 edition will feature gourmet street-food stalls, cocktail bars, glitter and festival-style accessories, plus a dedicated VIP area offering fast-track entry, private bars and a golden-circle viewing section.
A Big Summer Moment
With its blend of nostalgia, dance energy and soul, Glorious Day Festival is shaping up to be one of the standout cultural moments of Brighton’s 2026 calendar. For fans of summer parties by the sea, this is likely to be an unmissable date.
