Recently, Brighton Journal investigated Brighton as the most haunted place to live in the UK, revealing haunting truths about the history of the city. As Halloween approaches, the British Airways i360 have collaborated with spook-specialists from ‘Ghost Walk of the Lanes‘ to bring you Halloween Fright Flights.
Prepare for a phantom flight at Brighton’s tallest attraction
The i360 towers high on the seafront with clear view of West Pier, allowing visitors to enjoy a birds eye view of the city. Organisers of the BAi360 Fright Flights claim: “before the West Pier burned down, horrific unsolved murders took place at its Victorian funfair, leaving restless ghouls to roam around the West Beach area.”
It is also understood that the phantom of a young woman who died from a drug overdose in the 1980’s still haunts West Beach. It is known that she can sometimes be seen wearing tattered clothes, walking along the strip of Brighton’s seafront nightclubs before disappearing into the Pier’s haunting ruins.
Those who buy tickets this Halloween should expect “a ghoulish flight above Brighton & Hove as you hear chilling tales of the hideous apparitions that haunt the backstreets, buildings and beaches below.”
Do you dare to enter a live haunt horror maze before reaching the glass pod and embarking on the most haunting halloween activity in the city?
[Please note you should not attend the event if you are pregnant, easily offended and prone to seizures, have claustrophobia, heart or respiratory problems, or any other medical condition that may be triggered and or worsened by stressful conditions.]
