Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking residents’ views on the city’s draft homelessness and rough sleeping strategy 2025 to 2030.
The draft strategy outlines the council’s plans for preventing and reducing homelessness and for ensuring that sufficient accommodation and support are available for people who are at risk or those who become homeless.
In 2024, the council received 2,366 homelessness applications, with 2,624 households asked for homelessness advice and support.
The draft homelessness and rough sleeping strategy focuses on prevention and early intervention, temporary accommodation and support for those in the greatest need.
It aims to help the council deliver the vision of a better Brighton & Hove for all and the goal of homes for everyone.
Brighton & Hove residents can read the draft homelessness and rough sleeping strategy and share their views through the online consultation at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/
