Hove is getting a new American style Diner, with the planned arrival of a burger chain.
7bone describes it’s menu as “delicious American comfort food made from premium locally sourced ingredients with love, care and attention.”
The restaurant’s liscence application says: “We have negotiated with the Landlord to let this property for use as one of our casual dining gourmet burger restaurants trading under our brand name of 7Bone Burger Co.
“The ground floor will house the service kitchen, bar and disabled toilet. The service kitchen facility will be constructed at the rear of the ground floor with a service hatch allowing customers to see their meals being cooked fresh to order before being service.
“A prep kitchen will be located in the basement along with a separate bar for diners waiting to be seated upstairs.”
The diner will be next to Otello restaurant in the building which used to house Othello’s cocktail bar which has been empty since it closed its doors about 18 months ago.
Otello’s owners are leasing the property to 7bone which has branches in Southampton, Bournemouth and Camberley, and is about to open in Reading.
The new restaurant’s licence application asks to be able to serve food until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and until 11pm from Sunday to Thursday, with alcohol served until 11pm every day.
