This week, for our weekly Humans of Brighton feature, we met up with Lydia and Luke to ask the question:
“What was your childhood dream?”
Cosied up together under their bright orange umbrella, Luke and Lydia thought about the question for a few moments.
Lydia, visiting Brighton from Norwich, explained that she used to take two drama classes each Saturday and that she was known as a “drama queen.” So, naturally, she said dreamt of becoming an actress.
Today, Lydia works as a store manager for Skinnydip, but she wants to eventually get into styling and the fashion industry.
She then turned to Luke who went on to answer that he dreamt of owning a bar when he was younger.
Taking a break nearly 10,000 miles away from his day-to-day life in Australia, Luke explained that he works as a carpenter.
