On our quest for this week’s Human of Brighton, we found Sam – a Fine Art Sculpture student – wandering through the North Laines.
Hi Sam! Can you tell us what you do? I’m a student in Brighton, I do Fine Art Sculpture at the University of Brighton.
And how long have you lived here for? Coming up to two years now.
What’s your favourite thing about living Brighton? Ooh, I don’t know actually, that’s tricky! I really like making the most of all the pubs and bars in town.
Where’s your favourite place to go out? I really like the Malborough and The White Rabbit… I like anywhere in the Laines.
And if you could change one thing about Brighton what would it be? I’d want it to be bigger. I’m from a town in Essex, and love the atmosphere in Brighton, I just wish it was a bit bigger.
Finally, would you ever leave Brighton? Definitely. The size is a big one for me. I love Brighton but it’s not keeping me forever.
