Time is running out to see some of Brighton’s iconic street art.
The murals in Kensington Street will disappear in the coming months after the council gave permission for 12 homes to be built on former parking spaces.
Barriers have been put are put up across the bays in preparation for the work.
Some of the artworks were originally created for the Brighton Festival.
Proposals for the new buildings were presented to the local community at Jubilee Library in January 2015.
A council spokesperson said: “Building work is expected to start in early summer. However, the site has been cordoned off as a range of ground tests are being carried out.”
