Rock ’n’ roll icons Lynyrd Skynyrd are set to make a triumphant return to the UK this summer, announcing their highly anticipated ‘Celebrating 50 Years of Lynyrd Skynyrd’ arena tour. The tour commemorates five decades since the release of their groundbreaking debut album and marks the band’s first UK visit since 2019.

The tour will hit some of the UK’s most iconic venues, including the Brighton Centre on 18 July 2025, promising fans an unforgettable evening of electrifying performances and timeless classics.

Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, Lynyrd Skynyrd burst onto the scene in 1973 and have since become one of rock music’s most enduring and influential acts. Known for their legendary hits such as “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Free Bird”, the band continues to captivate audiences around the world with their unparalleled energy and passion.

Joining Lynyrd Skynyrd as special guests are Southern rock favorites Blackberry Smoke, adding to the evening’s powerhouse lineup.

Tickets for the ‘Celebrating 50 Years of Lynyrd Skynyrd’ UK tour go on sale at 10am on Friday, 24 January via aegpresents.com.

In addition, Lynyrd Skynyrd is proud to announce that £1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the newly launched Live Trust, an organization dedicated to supporting grassroots music venues and fostering the next generation of live music talent.
