Future – You Da Baddest ft. Nicki Minaj
This hip hop/trap song was directed by Benny Boom. The music video is mostly Nicki walking around a hotel and getting a lot of attention due to the lingerie she is walking around in, cutting to Future in an outdoor shot dancing and singing his track. Towards the end of the song the pair get together on a deck in front of the ocean and dance around together, Nicki again in a sort of dominatrix red outfit.
Madison Beer – Dead
This song has an R&B pop vibe to it. The video follows Madison in a variety of different locations singing her song with shots of her in the bath, on a bed, looking hopeless, frustrated and vulnerable. The video cuts from these, to show flashbacks of her and the guy she’s interested in talking to some other girl in black and white. Madison who is only 18 years old looks absolutely flawless in the string of close up shots in the video.
Macklemore ft Lil Yachty – Marmalade
Like all Macklemore’s music videos this one is just as fun and playful. The video starts with a kid, taking money and car keys from a sleeping Macklemore. The kid goes and picks up his friends and they sing along and dance in the car. The kids go buy a bunch of jewellery with the stolen money, the video follows the kids around all day on their adventure.
Charli XCX – Boys
This music video is classic Charli style with cuts to retro film shots and lots of the colour pink. The video just shows a bunch of different famous guys messing around.
Kendrick Lamar – LOYALTY ft. Rihanna
We couldn’t expect anything less from this pair, the music video is decked out with drone shots, nice cars, lots of flashy gangster vibes and of course it oozes sex and distortion. One of the first scenes is is kendrick surrounded by a bunch of half naked women dancing in a red light!
Selena Gomez – Fetish ft. Gucci Mane
The freaky video has 70’s vibes and to some may be verging more on the horror side than sexy. Selena puts weird things in her mouth and is acting a little crazy around the house.
Ne-Yo – Another Love Song
The video begins with Ne-Yo and his date at dinner with her paying very little attention to him. Then in Ne-Yo style he breaks into dance when she heads to the bathroom and the whole restaurant gets involved!
