Courtney Love’s hotly anticipated collection with Nasty Gal has finally been released and it’s even better than we expected! Instead of the eighteen pieces’ fans were expecting they have been treated to an incredible thirty pieces, including tiaras.
The garments are just as predicted, filled with nineties grunge nostalgia, with Mary Jane shoes and even a baby doll dress based on Courtney Love’s 1994 Reading Festival outfit, giving us a serious throw-back Thursday to when Hole were in their heyday. Love told Vogue “There were photos, and I had a few pieces that I had saved. We went through some of my rock-star 90s stuff and redid that in a more modern context, and some new things as well”. The collection is full of silk slips and maxi gowns, strappy lingerie and lace kimonos. There are also a few tiaras as well as a pair of Mary-Janes and a mesh stiletto.
The collection is full of Courtney Love inspiration, and nineties grunge could not be more on trend this year. Some of the most popular, Love-esque items have already sold out but there are some other gorgeous items on there for you to snap up before they disappear too. You can check out some of the collection below. You can find the entire collection online.
