Olga Koch has one good story. Only it’s not really her story. Do you wanna hear it?
Fat Tom Cruise is part-history lesson, part-gossip session, and part-horror story. The show is about toxic masculinity, male loneliness, and the reality of the #metoo era – without ever actually mentioning any of those things by name. It’s very funny though.
Kicking off with a residency at London’s Soho Theatre in February 2026 and storming the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe to huge critical acclaim, Fat Tom Cruise sees the Melbourne and Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated star comb through recent history in an immersive and genre-defying new show. Directed by Jet Vevers. She will be at Komedia on 5th Nov.
Speaking of bringing her new show Fat Tom Cruise on tour across the UK, Olga Koch says: “I would love for you to come see Fat Tom Cruise on tour, not only because I think it is likely my best work but also because I am currently being sued by Tom Cruise and really need the money for legal fees. God bless.”
Olga Koch is an all-rounder with serious range, known for her razor-sharp wit and masterful storytelling. Olga was nominated for Most Outstanding Show at Melbourne International Comedy Festival (2025), the Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer (2018), Best Show at Leicester Comedy Festival (2020), and won the Writers’ Guild Award for Best Radio Comedy (2022) for her hit show ‘Fight’. She has appeared on Mock the Week (BBC Two), QI (BBC Two), and Live at the Apollo (BBC Two) in the UK, as well as The Comedy Allstars Gala (ABC) in Australia and 7 Days (TVNZ) in New Zealand. Olga also co-hosts the steamy television podcast Tonsil Hockey with comedian Catherine Bohart.
“The captivating Koch’s most challenging magnum opus to date.”
