Bloody Monday! We’re only half-awake and wishing the weekend was on for at least one more day and yet we have to be back at work and be productive, or at least pretend to be. To cheer you up, we have compiled a little list of events every day this week that will make you forget about work! Keep busy and the next weekend will be here in no time at all!

Meditate your way into the new week!

If you already feel stressed on a Monday morning, then a gong meditation might be the place for you this evening. Starting with a guided meditation, you will immerse into the relaxing sounds of a gong, giving you the chance to enter the vibration field and focus on yourself in order to find your inner harmony.

For more information and registration, contact Patricia Carlota at [email protected] or on meetup. The meditation will start at 7:15 pm tonight at Purple Turtle Wellbeing, Old Slipper Baths, Barrack Yard, North Road, Brighton BN1 1YA.

 The stage belongs to you!

Tuesday is open mic night at Revolution Brighton. Whether you want to grab the mic yourself or just listen to what could be Brighton’s next upcoming talent doesn’t matter. It’s live music, it’s free, it’s better than spending Tuesday night at home!

Open Mic Night starts at 8 pm this Tuesday at Revolution Brighton, 77 West Street.

Already mid-week… a beer would be nice!

Join the team at North Laine Brewhouse for their monthly beer brewing session. The result of the session: 100l of an adventurous and probably quite unique brew based on pineapple, coconut, and chili. After so much effort, just hanging around for a couple of beers would be nice, wouldn’t it?

The North Laine Nano Brew#3 starts at 5 pm this Wednesday at North Laine Brewhouse.

Thursday is gonna be witty and dark!

Supposing the weather is dry, watching an outdoor theater performance sounds quite fun! D.A.F.T. is presenting William Wycherley’s forgotten masterpiece ‘The Plain Dealer’, a play about speaking the truth, loyalty, and revenge and a pertinent picture of human society back in its days as well as today.

‘The Plain Dealer’ will be on at the Brighton Open Air Theatre this Thursday. The show starts at 7 pm. Tickets are on sale here.

As soon as sunset comes, let the show begin!

A loving couple, a few lost monsters and a sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania! Friday night, Brighton’s Open Air Cinema will hold an open-air screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
