A solidarity vigil will be held tonight at the Marlborough Pub and Theatre to remember those lost in the tragic events that took place in Orlando.
50 people were murdered and another 56 injured when a gunman entered a gay nightclub in Orlando in the early hours of Sunday morning. The gunman was shot and killed at the scene.
The Marlborough Pub are hosting the gathering to ‘show solidarity with LGBTQ people affected’ by the events that transpired. This pub is a unique venue in the heart of Brighton and is a an important space for the LGBTQ community. The gathering is scheduled to take place between 6 and 7:30 but people are encouraged to join in at any time.
