Patterns Brighton announces Eliza Rose, Mixtress, Helena Hauff + more for Spring line-up

Following a solid winter run, which has seen the likes of Ahadadream, Interplanetary Criminal, Yung Singh, SHERELLE + more, Patterns continues to deliver with their latest announcement of artists including Eliza Rose, Mixtress, Helena Hauff, Bakey and Horsemeat Disco amongst others.

Sitting on Brighton’s famous Marine Parade, Patterns is the revered seafront dancing spot that brings in a superbly curated selection of DJs, live acts, bands, crews, and collectives week in week out. As the sun finally starts to shine, Patterns announce a solid set of names joining across the Spring season from April until June. A hint at huge things to come – Eliza Rose, Mixtress, Helena Hauff, Deptford Northern Soul Club, I. JORDAN, Luke Una, DJ Assault, Papa Nugs, Horse Meat Disco, Breaka and more will play, plus there’s residents, regulars, promoters all making up a part of the Spring 2023 fun. Across their Friday Foundations parties, Saturday sessions and mid week gigs, Patterns explore all spectrums of underground music in their diverse and eclectic programming. For fans of bass, grime, jungle, garage, rap, DnB, afrobeats, and global sounds, the in-house Foundations parties cater for an eclectic, on point, and sonically diverse audience. Kicking off the season is rising selector Laelo Black bringing fresh amapiano jams, joined by Charisse C and Mastaque. Across the season Breaka, Mixtress, Oblig, and BAKEY, Hamdi and more join to explore global club-driven sounds, plus super selector and NTS host Mina returns with inter-continental flavours spanning GQOM, afrobeats and more.

Each and every Saturday, Patterns invite some of the biggest names in house, techno, disco and more to their basement space, kicking off with Route 94 on Saturday 1st April. Across the rest of the month, there’s the B.O.T.A. themself – Eliza Rose, who’ll bring a dancefloor perfect selection of garage, house and disco. Storming techno comes from the revered Helena Hauff, whilst Ejeca comes prepared with a euphoric trance-laced techno mix. Fresh from the back of a sold-out first winter outing and DJ Mag front cover, Body Movements founder Soairse returns to the basement, supported by long-term resident and Patterns family Charles Green. For those booty bass fans, the OG DJ Assault will bring a deep and dirty set to Brighton in June – this will be an unmissable one for any booty bass fans. Another night not to be missed will be Deptford Northern Soul Club, who’ll be groovers and movers to the dancefloor for a classic northern gathering.

Once again, Patterns will also team up with The Great Escape for afterparties across the weekend, hosting  fast-rising bootleg boss Taylah Elaine, plus Ella DHC, Changing Currents and more on Friday 12th May, then Saturday sees hi-NRG bassline, and off-kilter club explorations with I. JORDAN, LUXE, and more. These after sessions have always been a highlight of The Great Escape calendar. Highlights from the live calendar include Black Lips, Dutch Uncles, Jordy, Nathan Fake and loads more top talent across the Spring – Summer 2023 run.
