Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after CCTV footage has been released, showing two men who they believe robbed a property in Hove on Thursday 24th May.

The men are accused of having broken into a home in Hangleton Valley Drive, Hove, somewhere between 10.45am and 3.30pm. From the property they took several of the owners possessions including two watches, adding to the value of over £20,000. The watches are described as being a women’s Omega watch with diamonds surrounding the face, a men’s Omega watch with Emeralds surrounding the face and a Rolex timepiece with diamonds and rubies around the face.

The CCTV footage shows two men, who are both white and dressed all in black and wearing baseball style caps lingering around the area of the burgled property.

Obviously the home owners are naturally distressed at the theft of such valuable items as well as having their home broken in to.

Detective Sergeant Chris Lane of Sussex Police has made an appeal for witnesses, or anyone who knows anything further about the burglary. “We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the suspects or has any information about this burglary.”

He is also willing locals to get in touch if they hear or see anything similar to the stolen items: “Also if anyone sees these valuable watches for sale or any jewellers who are offered them for sale, please get in touch with us.”
