The QWERKY drag brunch at Bar Broadway featured live vocals by talented drag queens, cheeky banter, audience participation and, of course, free-flowing drinks.

The two queens served up serious talent alongside generous drinks and decent food. Alex Fincher kicked things off, belting out Fly Me to the Moon with effortless charm. Within minutes, the whole room was singing along to Say My Name, drinks in hand and voices loud. The vibe is pure fun, mixing powerhouse performances with laugh-out-loud moments.

Bottomless prosecco and pretty strong cocktails kept spirits high with staff topping up glasses at a great speed with the lift of a jug.

Food-wise, juicy beef or veggie burgers with crispy fries did the job nicely, helping to soak up the bottomless drinks which were served for 90 minutes.

The main event was the live entertainment. Miss Darcy Knox was the second drag queen to take to the stage, singing Dr Jones by Aqua before leading an ABBA and Cher singalonsg. Jokes flew, each table got involved and audience lip sync battles added to the fun.

The venue itself is a cosy nod to the West End with theatre posters and signed photos lining the walls. The space is intimate which added to the atmosphere.

It was lovely to hear drag queens really sing, rather than mime and both Alex Fincher and Miss Darcy Knox really knocked it out of the park.

By the finale, everyone was on their feet, clapping, dancing and singing at the top of their lungs.
